Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to own and scale the narrative of ChipAgents, from market positioning and product messaging to executive communications and demand generation. This is a highly visible leadership role, partnering closely with the CEO, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive category leadership, pipeline growth, and brand trust across the semiconductor ecosystem. You will be responsible for shaping how the world understands ChipAgents, technically credible, commercially compelling, and unmistakably category-defining.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Marketing & Communications will focus on five key areas:
Marketing Strategy & Positioning
- Define and evolve ChipAgents' positioning, messaging, and category narrative across AI, EDA, and semiconductor markets.
- Translate complex technical value into clear, differentiated business outcomes for executives, architects, and engineering leaders.
- Own product launches, solution messaging, and competitive positioning.
Demand Generation & Growth
- Build and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies that drive qualified pipeline for enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Partner with Sales on account-based marketing (ABM), sales enablement, and field marketing programs.
- Track and optimize funnel performance, attribution, and ROI.
Communications & Thought Leadership
- Lead external communications, including PR, analyst relations, press releases, blogs, and conference presence.
- Position ChipAgents AI executives as thought leaders in AI-driven chip design and verification.
- Own core brand assets: website, messaging frameworks, keynote decks, and customer stories.
Customer & Partner Marketing
- Develop case studies, testimonials, and technical narratives with top-tier semiconductor customers.
- Support strategic partnerships with EDA vendors, cloud providers, and ecosystem partners through joint messaging and launches.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product to influence roadmap prioritization based on market and customer insight.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Sales to ensure accurate messaging around SOC 2, deployment models (on-prem, VPC), and enterprise requirements.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team as the company scales.
Minimum Qualifications
- B2B marketing experience in enterprise technology, semiconductor, EDA, or developer platforms.
- Proven experience building positioning and demand for highly technical products.
- Strong executive communication skills, able to engage credibly with VPs, C-suite, analysts, and press.
- Track record of driving pipeline impact and supporting $1M+ ACV enterprise sales motions.
- Experience owning brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategy end-to-end.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Background in semiconductor design, EDA, AI/ML platforms, or deep-tech infrastructure.
- Experience launching a new category or re-positioning a company in a competitive market.
- Existing relationships with industry analysts, media, or semiconductor ecosystem partners.
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
Location & Travel
Hybrid role based in Santa Clara, CA, with travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events.

- $150K/yr – $350K/yr (plus performance bonus) + Offers Equity. We are open to discuss above-scale compensation with exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.
