Trusted Agentic AI for Semiconductor Engineering: ChipAgents Achieves SOC 2 Type II Attestation

We're excited to announce that ChipAgents has successfully received our SOC 2 Type II attestation, an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to security, compliance, and customer trust.
For semiconductor companies, security is critical to protecting intellectual property, design data, and proprietary workflows that bring breakthrough chips to market. As agentic AI becomes embedded deeper into semiconductor design workflows, customers need confidence that AI systems are governed and deployed with the highest standards of enterprise security.
At ChipAgents, our security approach is designed around the needs of semiconductor teams working with highly sensitive design assets. "ChipAgents' multi-agent platforms are already deployed across more than 120 semiconductor companies, accelerating chip design and verification workflows from end to end. As we scale, we hold ourselves to the highest security standards across data protection, agent sandboxing, and deployment strategy," said David Wang, Founding Engineer at ChipAgents. "This attestation reflects the discipline we bring to protecting our customers' IP, design environments, and engineering data."
SOC 2 is an audit framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to evaluate how organizations protect customer data. A SOC 2 report assesses an organization's internal controls across the Trust Services Criteria, including security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy. SOC 2 Type II is one of the key benchmarks enterprise organizations use to assess whether a vendor can securely manage sensitive information. ChipAgents completed this rigorous audit process with Insight Assurance, validating the controls, policies, and procedures that support our security posture.
"As we continue to advance agentic AI for semiconductor design, we remain focused on helping customers adopt AI with confidence," David added. "Security and trust are foundational to our mission, and we will continue investing in the governance, infrastructure, and operational excellence required to support the world's most advanced chip design teams."
